Job Description

Growing family-owned insurance agency in business for over 85 years is in search of an experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager/Customer Service Representative. Company provides property and casualty (auto, home and business) insurance. This role is crucial in ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. This position is onsite for training for 3-6 months and then goes to a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite and 2 days remote). Salary depends on experience, and bonus is available. Company offers health insurance, 401(k) with match, and PTO.

Responsibilities:
-Assist customer with online transactions
-Independently market/quote new business and account renewals
-Understand commercial lines coverage(s), policy forms, and documentation
-Input client notes following emails and calls with client into CRM
-Nurture client relationships and build rapport with new clients
-Answer inbound service calls and make outbound service calls
-Consistent, timely, and accurate follow up on client calls, emails, inquires, and requests
-Assist customers with online applications and online payments
-Follow up on online quotes to inform customers of the benefits of our products and pricing
-Complete sales transactions and processing of payments
-Practice customer focus, collaboration, and communication with team

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
-NJ Property and Casualty Insurance License
-3+ years of experience in commercial lines
-Experience with Applied EPIC
-Excellent communication and presentation skills
-Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
