Job Description

Large and well-established commercial kitchen supplier is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Assistant Warehouse Manager to join their team. Hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 6:00pm and Friday 9:00am - 1:00pm. Salary depends on experience. Company offers health and dental (employee-paid and then company pays a contribution with more tenure), 401(k) with 3-5% match, and PTO. This position is eligible for RJ-Staffing bonus pay while temp.

Responsibilities:
-Assist the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations
-Manage inventory, including receiving, storing, and shipping products
-Supervise and train warehouse staff to ensure efficient and accurate work
-Implement and maintain safety and security protocols in the warehouse
-Optimize warehouse layout and processes to increase productivity and efficiency
-Ensure efficient shipping and receiving processes
-Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
-Analyze and report on warehouse performance metrics
-Assist in managing and maintaining warehouse equipment and machinery

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
-Experience in warehouse management or a related field
-Proven leadership and management skills
-Strong knowledge of inventory management and logistics
-Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
-Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
-Basic computer skills and experience with warehouse management software
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
-Positive attitude and strong work ethic
