Job Description

Family-owned SEC Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) is seeking a Business Development, CPA Partnership Specialist. Company focuses on wealth management services for high net-worth and ultra high net-worth individuals and retirement plan consulting for small and mid-sized businesses throughout the tristate as well as nationally. Company has been partnering with CPA firms to source new clients and is seeking a dynamic sales professional to open more partnerships with CPA firms. Their niche is that they offer Accountants, Lawyers, and Qualified Intermediaries continuing education seminars, which gives them credit toward their professional license. In return, those entities provide a strong pipeline of high net-worth leads for their wealth management programs. Hours are Monday - Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, with 4 days in office and Fridays remote. Salary depends on experience. With commission structure, first-year projected compensation is $90K - $125K. Company covers 50% of the single rate health plan, 401(k), PTO, disability, life insurance, etc.

-Serve as liaison between the company and CPA partnership firms
-Develop and nurture CPA relationships and maintain strong relationships with CPA firms
-Collaborate with CPAs and other Accountants to understand their clients financial needs
-Routinely organize face-to-face meetings, lunches, etc. With CPAs
-Keep CPA firms informed of our continuing education seminars

Job Requirements

-Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
-Must have 2+ years of demonstrated sales/business development experience
-Experience within the financial services industry is strongly preferred
-Experience in wealth management or financial services is strongly preferred
-Access to reliable transportation
-Dynamic and likable personality that enables strong relationship-building
-Extreme proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
