Job Description

Rapidly growing and one of the fastest-growing neighborhood bakery cafes in the world with over 1, 000 cafes in the US is in search of a Catering Sales Director. The Catering Sales Director is responsible for enhancing the revenue of their catering and event business by promoting, planning, converting, and supporting the execution of their catering category. This will be completed through prospecting and converting new clients and building on the relationships of existing loyal guests. This role will coordinate and organize catering events in coordination with store managers. The Catering Sales Director will work strategically with clients, partners in the catering process, and the operations team. The ideal candidate will help to achieve their mission to bring expertly crafted baked and brewed goods to guests through a warm and welcoming bakery cafe experience that delivers joy to everyone. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. This may be an on-site, remote, or hybrid opportunity, depending on location. Salary depends on experience, and bonus is available. Responsibilities:
-Maintain and build on existing client relationships
-Communicate effectively to understand client needs and design custom catering packages
-Work with operations team to ensure bookings are executed to a high standard
-Align on performance objectives and initiatives with cafe operations
-Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking and prospecting
-Manage inquiries, prospecting, proposals, and negotiations according to procedure
-Collaborate with research and development to develop and introduce new catering packages and menu items
-Manage guest feedback on catering and events, following up with the operations teams
-Manage department s goals and budgets and report on performance with cadence
-Work closely and collaboratively with all departments on product and catering/event launches

Job Requirements

Qualifications:
-Bachelor s degree or equivalent is preferred
-3-5 years of related experience
-Customer service and interpersonal skills, including high integrity, respect for all individuals (customers, vendors, and employees), excellent communication skills, strong critical and analytical thinking skills, and appreciation of diversity (thought, ethnicity, gender, etc.)
-Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, early mornings, nights, and/or weekends
-Basic working knowledge of POS register systems
-Experience utilizing MS Office Suite, internet, and related PC-based systems
-Dynamic and engaged leader who has a passion for empowering, inspiring, motivating, and developing team members
-Exceptional organizational and communication skills with the ability to effectively balance priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced, ever-changing, and highly entrepreneurial environment
