Rapidly growing manufacturer and supplier that develops and produces copper wire for high-performance applications for industrial and commercial use is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support manufacturing by maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment. Hours are Monday - Friday 6:30am - 3:00pm. Salary depends on experience. Responsibilities:
-Keeps machinery and mechanical operating by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines
-Repairs machinery and mechanical equipment by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using precision measuring and testing instruments, dismantling devices, and adjusting controls
-Maintains equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies
-Documents maintenance services by completing forms, reports, logs, and records
-Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs
-Maintains work area in a safe, clean, and organized condition by adhering to the company s safety standards and policies, following prescribed safety regulations, and alerting the appropriate person regarding potential concerns
