Job Description

Well-established and growing family-owned accessibility industry leader and innovator in the design and manufacturing of quality ramps serving the manufacturing and healthcare sectors by providing newfound freedom to the elderly and handicapped community with the most diverse range of accessibility products in the industry is seeking a qualified Procurement Manager who will bring their expertise to the team and help them grow to become the leader in their specialized construction niche. Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Salary depends on experience. Company offers 80% company-paid health plan as well as dental, vision, 401(k) with match, life and disability insurance, PTO, and bonus.

-Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans to ensure a stable and cost-effective supply chain
-Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiating contracts to secure favorable terms
-Establish and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials
-Conduct regular supplier performance reviews and implement improvement plans as necessary
-Monitor and analyze market trends, pricing, and supply chain risks to identify cost-saving opportunities
-Collaborate with internal stakeholders to optimize costs while maintaining product quality
-Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favorable agreements
-Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
-Identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuity of operations
-Implement strategies to manage disruptions and shortages proactively
-Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness
-Implement best practices to streamline workflows and reduce lead times

Job Requirements

-Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in the manufacturing industry
-Strong negotiation and contract management skills
-In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, market trends, and procurement best practices
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software
-Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (master's degree is a plus)
